Private Mentorship and Consulting

I work one-on-one with photographers at every level, from beginners building confidence to experienced photographers refining projects, workflow, and finished prints. Sessions are tailored to the individual and shaped around both creative goals and practical needs.

Photographing

For photographers developing a body of work, I offer guidance in editing, sequencing, and shaping projects for portfolios, books, websites, and exhibitions. This work focuses not only on individual images, but on the larger structure that allows the photographs to speak clearly and hold together as a whole.

Beginners are welcome.
You do not need to be advanced to work with me. I meet clients where they are and tailor sessions accordingly, whether the need is technical, creative, or both.

Editing in Lightroom and Photoshop

I help photographers approach printing as both a technical process and a creative one. By teaching the relationship between file preparation, color, tonal adjustment, paper, and presentation, I help students make prints that are stronger, more refined, and more fully realized.

I teach Lightroom and Photoshop in a clear, practical way that helps photographers move beyond presets and guesswork. By breaking the process into understandable steps, I help students learn how to organize, adjust, refine, and finish their images with greater confidence and intention.

Workflow and Troubleshooting

I also help clients solve the practical problems that can slow photographic work down: file organization, catalogs, color issues, software confusion, printing problems, and workflow bottlenecks. The goal is not only to fix what is broken, but to build a system that feels clearer, more dependable, and easier to use.

Portfolio and Project Development

I teach photographing in a patient, practical way that helps people move beyond guessing and start working with intention. My approach focuses on seeing, timing, light, composition, and the relationship between technique and meaning, so that students can make photographs that are both stronger and more personal.
